Gurnazar and Baani are a sweet couple that seems to be in a long distance relationship at first glance. As they speak to one another by going about their respective daily chores, the narrative is allowed to develop, introducing the viewer to the many nuances, moments and intimacies of their relationship. In the process, poetry, one's relationship with it, and the manner in which the characters look at memory as well as at the hopes for the future, are all portrayed for the audience to engage with.
The film presents to you a devoted attempt at invoking the right aesthetic, along with a dedicated treatment of its thematic concerns. In the future projects by the team, however, it would be a welcome prospect to see tighter control on their writing and the manner in which the narrative reaches its conclusion.
