Shade is the story of two girls who visit the haunted, cursed fort in their village, despite the warnings of
the elders, and consequently begin experiencing paranormal occurrences in their own lives.
While an honest attempt, the film does not bring a new story to the fore. By using sounds, visuals and a narratorial commentary, it wants to create a sense of dread, fear, while also attempting to shock the viewer. However, will it truly succeed in the efficient use of all of these elements?
