One late night, a distressed, alcoholic writer, Niranjan, receives a surprise visit by a mysterious man. They both seem to know each other from before and enter into an ambiguous argument about Niranjan’s wife, Vindhuja.
Later, Vindhuja is visited by an unnamed guest, and as they talk it is revealed that Niranjan died on that night. It is assumed that Niranjan fell on his own after having too much to drink, but the wife has a different theory. She believes Vivek, an estranged colleague of Niranjan, to be the culprit. She remembers having heard them arguing that night when she returned home.
However, a big revelation awaits in the narrative that would put to question everything the viewer has been made to believe so far. As the plot moves forward, bringing to life the umpteen complexities that the plague the human mind, events take a shocking, dangerous turn.
