The story wants to remind the viewer of the importance of one of the most important figures in Indian history - Mahatma Gandhi. The film is short and simple and conveys a direct message. The narrative begins and concludes with a glimpse into a day of a little school boy.
As he learns a history lesson about the father of the nation in his classroom, he finds a different reality on his way back home after the lesson is over. He stumbles across a forgotten picture of Gandhi on the road, in direct contrast with what he just learnt a few hours ago. By providing the juxtaposition, the film wants to invoke a sense of respect for the Mahatma which many in contemporary India may have forgotten.
