Ooku

A man, if successful at taking care of his responsibilities towards his family as well as society, is capable of effecting significant change. With this message as its premise, the short film takes the viewer into a dysfunctional household. As a child struggles to pursue her education, her father is shown indifferent to her needs, at best.

By portraying an environment which is hostile to her growth and development in all manner, Ooku further tries to drive its message home. It finally concludes with a reminder that reiterates the importance of education in society.
