On the face of it, the film is a homage to mothers all over, but look closer and the story goes beyond the traditional definition of motherhood. The same is achieved by portraying the familial experiences of a young woman as she moves across the various stages of life, those that include both tears and happiness, thereby allowing the viewer a more balanced product about one's relationship with their parents.
