Nafs

The film is an interesting conversation with the ideas of self and internal conflicts and dilemmas which come to haunt a poet. The narrative shows potential in terms of thought and writing, while introducing the viewer with the struggles of its protagonist.

It conjures an atmosphere of eeriness and horror, and aims to shock the audience. However, it would have benefited from a little more control on its light and visuals.
