The film opens with a delivery executive arriving at the house of a young woman with a package. Right from the very first exchange between the two characters, an unease, that would eventually become elemental to the rest of the narrative, is invoked to draw in the viewer deeper. While first the young man is positioned as a potential threat for the woman alone at home, the course of events soon begin to take an unexpected course, dividing the tension in quarters that constantly threaten to introduce imbalance in this assumed power equation.
Further, the narrative invokes the reality of a place that is completely empty, save for the two characters we have been introduced to so far. The isolation is driven home in an impactful manner.
