The Covid-19 pandemic led to a migrant crisis of humongous proportions in India in 2020. As millions got stranded away from home, the nation witnessed heartbreaking chaos. The short narrative gives us a glimpse into the reality of one such migrant worker who longs to go home to his family in Jharkhand, but finds himself confined far from them instead in the wake of the national lockdown.
Kayum Ansari is a tailor who introduces the viewer to his life, further invoking for them his relationship with religion and the faith he puts in God to help him, and innumerable others like him, to overcome this unforeseen obstacle. The film is marked by its positive intentions to make one reflect, along with a dedication to storytelling, but loses crucial points in the department of sound.
