The film seeks to throw a loud, powerful blow at patriarchy, and it manages to do that. A woman who
has been scarred on her face as a result of an assault by a man, sets out to perform the same act on the
same man, but then, something changes. Would you call it an act of revenge, retribution or justice? The
film raises the same question.
