Two men, Kabir and Prashant are meeting in the privacy of a room with an unknown remote location. The task at hand demands a gravity that is gradually revealed to the viewer. Amidst it all, Prashant’s wife’s incessant calls continue, and we soon realize that Prashant is meeting with a hired assassin. Having found his wife cheating on him with his former business partner, he finds his trust completely broken by her and has thus decided to call it even with the violent revenge he has planned.
The writing and screenplay, notably bolstered by the two performances and the chemistry of the two actors, ensure that all of these intentions are portrayed with clarity and ease. Though there seems to be a want of tighter control on lighting, the aforementioned elements carry the film easily on their shoulders. There is a shocking turn of events that awaits our characters, as well as the audience, and it is in the film’s movement towards this moment that it achieves completion.
