A man enters into a shadowy, dusty house that has clearly been shut for a long time. He seems to be on a phone call, and from the conversation that is thus presented to the viewer, we find out that he is here in the capacity of a real estate agent, trying to strike a deal for the property. It is further revealed that the house also has a dark past that involves the death of its last occupants. Soon a sinister, supernatural presence makes its presence known, but would it be too late by then for the protagonist?
Future projects could perhaps gain from a tighter control on the lucidity of its visuals. Having said that, House on Sale remains an endeavor in storytelling, which also strives to experiment with its editing.
