As the title suggests, the film opens on a scorching day when the protagonist finds himself with the deplorable circumstance of a malfunctioning ceiling fan. His pursuit of an electrician to fix it only leads him to a locked door with no expert available at hand to end his misery. However, just when he is about to head back, despondent and sweating, a man offers his services. Once home, he goes to the kitchen to get him a glass of water, and it is at this juncture that all hell is let loose.
Though the narrative could have gained from a tighter control on its sound, it offers a zealous attempt at invoking thrill and suspense. The visuals are constructed with the same approach, endeavoring to keep the viewer involved. As for the protagonist, whose fate hangs in uncertainty, does something far more terrible than the heat of a summer day without a ceiling fan await him?
