Every year we hear the news of adolescent suicides brought on by the systemic failures in our education
system. The students take their life because they are made to feel worthless simply because they failed a
school examination.
God Cares is a film about one such student Darshan, who contemplates taking his life because he is too embarrassed and afraid of facing his parents, peers and society at large. He attempts to first jump in front of a moving train, but gets overwhelmed and steps back. He decides to next kill himself by drowning, but just when he is about to jump, as though, he is beckoned by someone. Something quite divine unfolds after that.
