A sense of poetry comes to pervade the deliberately slow-paced visuals of the film. It takes the viewer into a world that is not marked by verbal exchanges, but instead a serene background score.
As the music is coupled with the developments unfolding before you, a reality of a woman taking care of domestic chores is brought to life. However, soon the frames come to be defined by her stark absence, further invoking a symbolic image for you. In the process, the film endeavors to make its comment about an existence which is made easier and welcome with the presence of a mother, one which seems lacklustre, the calmness acquiring a disconcerting quality, without her.
