Irrespective of the nearness that is intrinsically part of a familial bond or being in the same physical space, emotional distance can still find a way to wriggle into an equation between two people. The short film engages with the same premise through a father-son relationship. The story attempts poignance that steers clear of sentimentalism, and finds itself supplemented by a skilled voiceover as the backbone of the narrative.

While dealing with its subject matter, the film also becomes a commentary on Indian domestic structures that, though while being marked by their warmth and affection, can sometimes also lead to distance and remoteness between two people. However once the protagonist presents this concern to the audience, soon follows another significant realisation, one about erasing this distance by using memory and a shared past as a bridge. The film, thus, succeeds in conveying and translating its intention on screen in a sophisticated manner, while also invoking a heartwarming narrative about a man's relationship with his father.
