Valli, the protagonist of the film, is at the end of her rope. With a father who battles dementia and does not remember her, men at her workplace who constantly corner her about being unmarried, and a life of isolation and loneliness, she finds herself battling suicidal thoughts.
The scars on Valli's wrist further reveal past attempts and episodes of self-harm. One day, however, strange occurrences begin to occur with a new student's entry into her class.
Bala seems to know things about Valli’s life he has no way of knowing, and Valli now finds herself going on a philosophical and spiritual journey that has the potential to alter her life forever.
