The narrative of the film aspires to engage with several important concerns including mental health, old age, emotional isolation and notions of hope which posses the power to triumph over all of these. The same is portrayed using the story of an old man who lives by himself while his son has moved to Canada. Awaiting his calls and return, he struggles with loneliness, soon finding himself slipping into despair.
It is then a chance encounter with a stranger, a young boy who has faced his fair share of tribulations as well, that prods the protagonist towards a new path.
