‘Doon Days’ offers an easy movement between the past and the present to share a story of anger, and heartbreak, but also friendship shining the brightest to eventually come through even on the darkest days.

The film opens with a lighthearted scene at a cafe where while Kshitij is hard at work, Rohan is more cheery while enjoying his coffee. However, the tone soon changes to acquire a more somber sentiment.

We are introduced to a third friend, Ajay, a seemingly inseparable part of the trio. The rest of the narrative becomes a progression of events that aptly present the relationship of the three men, its pitfalls, and the honest, even if a little aggressive, voicing of all the grievances that have plagued it. The end result is marked by an intimacy of storytelling, and a sincere voice to celebrate friendship that remains loud and clear throughout.
