The film describes itself as a roller coaster ride into the mind of a man spiralling into madness, and his journey back to sanity through introspection. The story begins in a dark place, literally and visually. It is night time, a man walks into a dim-lit room and lights a candle on his bedside, soon followed by him falling asleep.

This gesture seems a bit odd, perhaps, reflecting on his state of mind. He sleeps uneasy and wakes up with a start. In the morning, the character finds himself experiencing another nightmare. His nightmares do not stop, and one cannot tell if those are past traumatic events of his life, haunting him, or his own delusions. Whatever it may be, our protagonist snaps out of them rather quickly, which makes his story murkier, making the viewer wonder where is it truly headed and what will be his fate amidst it all?
