The short film has a noble intention - to draw the viewer's attention to the ill-effects of smoking. It tries to achieve the same by the delineation of one day in the life of two characters - a caretaker and a guest in the same house.
Throughout the story, there are hints and suggestions of something being unusual with the protagonist - he does not like making physical contact and denies all offers of food. As the plot unfolds, there indeed is a dark reality awaiting the viewer. However, the darkest of them all is perhaps what smoking is doing to your health and body, reiterates the film.
