The narrative of the film constantly serves to confuse and befuddle the viewer about who to route for out of its two characters. Right from the start, we are told of a serial killer on the loose by way of a news bulletin in the background as a man moves from one corner of a near-empty house to another. Soon there is a doorbell and a dhobhi arrives to collect the dirty laundry.
The hour is late, the house empty, save for its only occupant, and yet the washerman insists on taking the clothes. What unfolds next would keep the audience guessing, until it eventually culminates into the climax to finally reveal the true intentions of the film.
