The film is an important conversation, very relevant in contemporary times where voices around sexual abuse are gaining more and more predominance every single day. Visuals develop before the viewer, marked by the narration of its protagonist, and we are taken into a story about sexual oppression of a boy by a relative. As past events are recalled from the protagonist's position in the present, the story also becomes a comment on the several manifestations of childhood trauma in adulthood, and how they come to influence and mould the survivor's psyche and approach to life.
The film exhibits potential in the department of visuals, and the execution and treatment of the story. There is also a dedication to performance and storytelling, leaving the door open for similar, more developed products by the team in the future.
