“I do not know why I tolerate her so much,” is a resounding sentiment by partners in a long, committed relationship. But it’s equal parts remarkable, and peculiar when a man says this about his fairly new, Facebook crush, whom he has never met. There’s something about Pralay Dasgupta’s (playing Raj) demeanour that makes him appear earnest. It’s a noteworthy contrast against the heroine (Rupsha Chatterjee), his beloved Arthi, who is coquettish.

There is a suggestion of chemistry between them, even though they are only speaking on the phone throughout the film. The film could have gone on to become something sweet and sincere, but for some strange, inexplicable reason, it ends up with an unsatisfying climax instead.
