The film comes across as an endeavour to understand the self and its many moods. Using a phrase from the space of performance, it titles itself The Fourth Wall, to instead talk about the three things - womb, nature and mirror, that the protagonist finds herself turning to in search of answers. However, does the truth lie in the fourth component of this structure, and if yes, what would this component be? With this question at the core of its premise, the film allows itself to develop. 

The narrative uses no dialogue and primarily a single character to communicate its intentions. It strives for a tone of quietude and calmness. As the protagonist moves from one emotion to another, to truly comprehend the nature of her feelings that seem to overwhelm her, realisations about her being await right around the corner once she finally chooses to let go and smile at it all, suggests the progression of events.

A man in isolation finds himself turning to the silence of his company which reveals conversations he had not engaged with previously. Without explicitly spelling it out, the film also brings in lovely visuals of lush greenery. This is perhaps a suggestion of how the environment is breathing in a new fresh of air in a long time, and allowing the protagonist to not only appreciate it, but participate in it too.

The short film blurs the lines between fact and fiction to put forth a narrative that makes the viewer question its true nature. Posited as an homage to a photographer whose life was cut short too soon due to a terminal illness, it presents the audience with the experiences of the different actors and professionals who worked with him, and how he came to influence their careers in a significant manner. Along with celebrating the life of Durjoy Ray, the film also endeavours to exhibit poetry and an insight on life's journey that eventually concludes with death. The final product is a sincere, dedicated attempt that wants to be a poignant narrative about what someone leaves behind in the wake of their absence.

The short narrative aims to delineate it’s protagonist’s extreme fear of mirrors, or any reflecting surfaces for that matter. This is further tied with a similarly overwhelming relationship with his own reflection as well as the strange reality that exists within this world of reflections and mirrors. 'He' comes across as a zealous endeavor in conjuring a world that is marked by its disconcerting truths, and therefore signs up to be an ambitious project. It would be a welcome prospect to see some of the rough edges of the visual progression smoothened and a tighter control on complexity of performances, especially when it comes to portrayal of death by the actors involved.

When a writer puts pen to paper, there is a parallel reality he conjures, one he will continue to dwell in until the story has reached its conclusion. The film is a portrayal of the same, a world created by a writer in his imagination. The visuals are coupled with a voiceover of the protagonist. Through its story within a story, the film explores a romantic relationship and its many complexities and dynamics. As the protagonist paints the relationship of the lovers using the strokes of his words, what will truly be their fate?
