The film paints a picture of the city of Mumbai, first with visuals of its most iconic haunts, and hence, the life they represent. From crowded local stations to the romanticizing of monsoon, the film includes them all. Next, it brings in voices of artists, painter Atul Dodiya, and poet Adil Jussawalla, the latter’s work also lending the film its title. 
The visual progression and the manner in which it is tied with the narrative display investment of thought. 
The end result works on the level of thought, even if it lags a little when it comes to narrative construction. 

Nevertheless, the overall effect is marked by a mellowness, one that leaves the door open for more storytelling in the same vein in the future.

Sea, Breeze, Bombay | Short Film Nominee

The short opens with the very beginnings of a new chapter in the life of a couple. They have just moved in together, and as they arrange the whole house, a sweet romance comes into existence. The two find themselves in a perfect space of affection and intimacy, spending their time doing the mundane tasks of daily life together. However, can anything this perfect last too long? Soon the love is put to test, and the story thus becomes about whether or not their love would be able to withstand it to emerge victorious. 
The end result is marked by competent choreography which is executed and performed with equally complementary skill, grace, and seamlessness. Despite the limitation of resources that sometimes becomes evident in terms of the production value, the film remains a heartfelt endeavor with a clear vision.
