The film does a skilled job of capturing the futility of an existence which is entrapped within a cycle of violence. While the protagonist might make all attempts to steer himself clear of it, will he truly succeed? The narrative also adeptly handles the fear and apprehensions of being alone on a dark street at a late hour. Along with offering a portrayal of a world which might seem arbitrary in who it chooses as victims of violence, the film further becomes a powerful comment on how a seemingly innocent taxi driver finds himself at the eye of the storm. There is an attempt to also explore the darkness of the human mind, and perhaps even invoke existential dread, raising the question - would he still be innocent and non-violent if he finds himself up against the wall?

The music video is undoubtedly marked by the chemistry between its two actors, which is in part due to their performance, and in part due to the intermingling of different kinds of visuals. It is a smartly woven narrative, one which is about the different stages of love - from union and joy, to separation, yearning and heartbreak. These are tied together by a song which echoes the same sentiment for the viewer's benefit. The strongest aspect of the video is the story it tells. Even though it reminds the audience of other videos in popular culture with similar themes and narratives, and thereby loses points for freshness of the concept, the mixing of different shots with the vocals is what allows it to still separate itself from them. Overall, it is a product that shows technical skill and a desire to share its story.
