As the title has already established, it is around a breakfast table, with the promise of a new day, that the predominant action and drama of the film develops. However, despite the bright, well-lit setting, the story is far from that of hope or warmth. Instead it is one of lies, deceit and horrifying revelations that are about to change the relationship of the two characters before us in an irrevocable manner. <br><br>

Saritha is married to Ganesh, a seemingly humble politician who is portrayed as doing commendable work for the welfare of society. Within their conversation rests one more name, Kalimuthu, and it is these three names around which the plot is weaved. The story, performances and screenplay become marked strengths of the film. Together they constitute a narrative that is engaging and shocking, while tightly holding your attention all along.
