In the title of the film lies the core metaphor which would come to define it entirely. The story opens with an angry voice of a woman who eventually gets off a car in the middle of a highway. While trying to find her way to the destination, she runs into a man from her past, and thus begins the story of ‘Wireless’. 

Throughout the heated exchanges and disagreements, the metaphor remains a significant presence, maintained consistently right till the very end. As the two characters embark on an emotional journey, alongside the physical one, how much of it would be covered as companions and how much of it would have to be covered alone? There is thus the attempt to comment on internal growth, relationships and what makes them last. The visuals employed to share this story evidence potential, allowing the narrative to come together as a whole.

The story of the film focuses on the same thought and introduces the viewer to the struggles of a boy. Between what is expected of him and what he truly desires, several years of his life are compromised. One day, when he finally finds himself at the end of his rope, important decisions are in tow. However, which path will they take him on? The film raises the question, along with offering a way out of the predicament.

As a runaway bride makes her way to a park bench, awaiting the union with her lover, her paths cross with a man who is battling humongous obstacles of his own. Desperate to secure money for the wedding of his sister, he finds himself striking a conversation with the harried woman. The plot wants to portray a story of the unexpected developments that a conversation between two strangers leads to. Though it loses crucial points in the department of sound, Back Pocket employs melodious songs, along with a spirited performance by the two pivotal actors, to share its story.
