‘Tooti Chappal’ takes us into a corner of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and into the life of an auto driver called Magan. As the plot progresses, we see a strange, unusual relationship that the protagonist shares with a pair of broken slippers. <br><br>

Anyone questioning it or objecting to the possession, makes Magan irate and aggressive. Soon, an inextricable link between the slippers and Magan’s fate is also revealed. However, with the sense of foreboding that has come to define this equation, can anything good or constructive come out of it? <br><br>

The film raises this question, strives passionately to communicate it to the viewer, and in the process, offers a story that is disconcerting and marked by an irrational relationship between a man and his beloved inanimate object.

It not only highlights the efforts of those health workers who are on the front lines of the battle against coronavirus, but also reminds the viewer to take care of those who might not be as fortunate as others.
