The short film endeavours to be a celebration of creativity and all thoughts that arise (and sometimes cast off) in its pursuit. The premise is translated on screen in the form of an exchange between two crumpled pieces of paper, once ideas conjured by a person. As they lie rejected on the floor, with a trash can being their eventual destination, what surprising turn will the narrative take?

‘Nova’ offers a sleek narrative about primarily a single night, and a conversation that unfolds during it between two people, Noel and Varun. However, the viewer is allowed a detail Noel remains oblivious to throughout - Varun is simply a figment of his imagination, the result of a fractured psyche, ensuring that he is the only one who is able to see and interact with Varun. <br><br>
The story that is thus presented is complete with elements of crime, action and thrill, along with invoking ideas of familial ties, loss and trauma. Though a little rough around the edges, it manages to present a plot with a balanced beginning, middle and end.
