The film is a lovely comment on the futility and obsolete nature of some institutions and belief systems that constitute our society. It does the same not by being self-indulgent or mawkish, but by simply presenting a single conversation between two women. As a job interview is executed, the film’s intentions are allowed articulation. 

The plot remains lucid and engaging throughout, while also making all its intentions clear in a concise and crisp manner. The job interview itself is not one that the viewer would expect, and it is in this first sense of surprise, or perhaps even unease, that the message of the film is pronounced loudly and emphatically.

The short film is a wonderful engagement with grief, loss and the inexorable movement of life. Even in the face of all adversity, life must go on and responsibilities must be taken care of, reminds Role. The narrative is visualised intelligently as the camera follows the protagonist with notable ease and smoothness, devoid of any distractions. The story is realised and executed in a skilled manner, even though the visuals lose in the department of light and the overall viewing experience. The film is a thoughtful piece of work which, with its engagement with the themes of isolation, loneliness and a man's dedication to his sense of duty, successfully communicates the message it has set out to irrespective of its limited resources.

Indian society adopts several rigid structures to define itself which leaves little to no space for someone who does not conform to them. The short narrative is an exploration of the same premise. It opens on a regular day where a man attends daily work calls, while being interrupted by his mother in the middle of them. However, it is soon revealed that the calls are not with a colleague, but indeed with his romantic partner, another man. As the story of the two men is brought to life, thus begins the protagonist's struggle to reveal the truth about his sexuality to his mother. The ensuing conversation shares with you the primary concerns of the plot, also offering the viewer a comment on pertinent issues about relationships and love.
