When the coronavirus hit the world and ensured that outdoors became a distant dream, this new way of life was first met with emotional resistance. From frustration to boredom to even mental health issues, all of these followed in its wake, leaving us feeling terrible. The film invokes these emotions by allowing an anthropomorphic representation to the virus.
As he engages in a conversation with the protagonist, the narrative brings in a philosophical discourse to make the viewer reflect on the ways humanity took the planet and its environment for granted. It also draws attention to our own failings as a society, thereby allowing the film to carry an important message for its audience.
