The short film engages with an important conversation around mental health and focuses on body dysmorphia. By making efficient use of limited space, the narrative makes a powerful attempt to show a young girl's struggle to accept herself.
The title and the frames convey a sense of claustrophobia and being trapped inside a cycle of self-hate and the eventual rejection of the self. Writing, cinematography, direction and performance - all exhibit great potential in the film and we can expect some good work from the team in the future.
