Two men sit before computer screens, clutching their phones in their hands. A conversation develops to reveal how they are neck-deep in committing cyber crimes, stealing hard-earned money from unsuspecting people. They pretend to be credit card managers, and using the same spiel, extract personal account details from their victims. However, soon a call comes that completely turns the table. Now, the protagonist finds himself at the mercy of an unknown, unnamed character in a mask who threatens to kill his son if the bidding he’s proposing is not fulfilled.
Though not entirely unique in premise and approach, the film endeavors to present its own individual voice to the viewer. Despite some visual consistency as the narrative progresses, the end result remains sincere in the portrayal and execution of its intentions.
