The film is a first person narration about the protagonist's relationship with her father. It also brings in gender to discuss her identity and location in society as a girl, and eventually, a woman.

A poetic voice ties itself with silhouettes and shadows which are then employed to visually represent all of this for the viewer. This, in turn, allows the film to use limited resources to convey its message. From her birth to becoming a bride, the several stages of her life are mapped for the audience, finally leaving them with the expression of a daughter's love for her father, as well as the manner in which a woman's identity, ambitions, hopes and dreams are formed with regards to her familial and domestic space.
