The Cactus is a comic take on a break-up, which begins like a common sob. After returning from
his ex-girlfriend’s (Preeti) wedding, Varun opens up over drinks with Preeti's cousin and narrates his heartbreak to his attentive listener. They begin
talking about the usual, slowly warming up. <br><br> As the story develops, and more and more layers enter the narrative, questions get answered, to eventually give way to a clarity that explains several things. The last gift that Preeti left for Varun was a cactus
which plays a key role in the tale, but the viewer has to wait till the very end to find out.
