The film opens with a sense of darkness that would continue to pervade the rest of the story. An old man recounts his experiences of isolation and loneliness for the viewer by introducing them to his life so far. After the passing of his wife, he is only left with an indifferent, uncaring son and a grandson who, though striving to fulfil his responsibilities towards his grandfather, is still unable to be present with him. <br><br> Left by himself in a dark house with an impersonal meal that is being delivered from a local restaurant, the protagonist soon begins wondering about his daughter who he turned away from his love and affection when she chose a life-partner he did not approve of. The narrative, thus, wants to be a conversation with all of these concerns, along with offering the viewer an unexpected development at its conclusion when the food delivery justifies the expectations the title of the film had set all along.
