While at the first glance the film might come across as a romantic love story, further engagement with it reveals it's more than that. It is a story about duty, responsibility and sacrifice, with specific attention to the role of health workers during the pandemic which shook the world. <br><br> Ehsaas takes the viewer into the life of a couple where the wife, who is a doctor, has been away from home for a while, taking care of those infected with the coronavirus. On the day she is finally supposed to come back, her husband has woken up early in the morning, in excitement and anticipation. As everyone turns up for her welcome, would the narrative truly head in the direction the viewer has been made to expect so far? The same question is invoked as well as answered by the film, using a seamless edit, intelligently used visuals and skilled camerawork.
