horror · Short Films · malayalam

The film starts off as horror. A man is in a dark place. He is fighting with ghosts, and is utterly helpless. But with a new dawn, as it were, the film makes its journey towards hope.

When it comes on its own, the film is tender and has a beautiful message. It initiates an important conversation on mental health and how some tragedies can lead one to an existence of constant fear. In this context, the voice of authority or that of a medical expert in the narrative is of extreme importance. The doctor in the story does a fine job of being sensitive to the character's state and also about mental health on the whole. There is further a reminder of the significance of support of friends and loved ones, along with the right treatment, in the road to recovery.

The film is marked by moving moments. It shows genuine intent towards abolishing stigma from mental illness which is winning the first battle itself.
