A Rough Cut

The docufiction shares with the audience the struggles of a protagonist who aspires to be a filmmaker, but finds his creative process bogged down by several obstacles. Despite having started three scripts, he grapples with completing them. This is further coupled with the financial burden of expensive film schools, along with the reality of the pandemic that keeps him from not only following his passion, but also having any form of clarity regarding the direction his life is headed in.

Though a little rough around the edges, the approach of the film is marked by a freshness of vision, leaving the door open for more similar projects by the young team. The final result wants to tell a story and tries to experiment with different aspects of storytelling to achieve the same.
