The film aims to achieve an engaging narrative about a protagonist who has committed the murder of his wife. As he hurriedly prepares to flee the scene, he has an unexpected visitor who will change the entire course of events. The film further invokes a sense of cyclicality when it comes to the progression of the narrative. <br><br> The story is of a serial killer whose past has caught up with him in an attempt to avert the heinous act he is about to commit, or at least make him face some kind of retribution if it's too late to prevent the murder. Before and After uses notable camerawork to conjure suspense and thrill. It employs seamless editing and tight frames to sustain the atmosphere it has created. However, in terms of storytelling it comes across as a little too complex to be comprehensive.
